At Suplery, we value trust and security. The Suplery Marketplace is a platform for business clients, and it connects brands and suppliers to beauty product retailers and beauty businesses like beauty salons, cosmetology clinics, barbershops, SPAs, and others. To ensure everyone has a positive experience, we ask businesses to confirm they are authorized before joining the marketplace.

Getting started is easy! The setup itself just involves confirming legal company information to ensure everyone on the marketplace is verified. Once we confirm your information, the setup page will disappear, and you'll be good to go!

You can still manage your inventory and users even without completing the setup process.

Email verification

Ready to verify your business? First, confirm your email address. This ensures you receive important notifications from us.

We automatically send a confirmation email right after registration. Look for it in your inbox and follow the instructions to activate your account. Once you click the link, you'll see a confirmation message, and you'll be ready to fill out the verification form!

Didn't get the confirmation email?

Please, check your spam folder first. If it's not there, simply click Resend confirmation link on the setup page. We'll send you a new one!

How to fill in legal company information

To start ordering and connect with suppliers, fill out some legal information about your company. This helps us create the best connections between verified suppliers and beauty businesses like yours.

No need to rush!

We automatically save your progress as you fill out the form. So even if you close the page or accidentally reload, your data will be there waiting for you.

Legal name and Doing business as

First, fill in the required fields for Legal name and Doing business as (DBA). Note:

  • Legal name should exactly match the name on your official government registration documents.

  • If your customers know you by a different name, enter it here. This is optional, but required if you have a confirmed DBA. If you leave it blank, your display name will match your legal name. You can find your DBA name on official business documents.

Employer identification number

Fill in your Employer identification number (EIN). This is also known as your Federal Tax Identification Number. It's a unique nine-digit number assigned by the IRS to businesses in the United States.

Company registration state

Please select your company's registration state from the dropdown menu. Knowing your business registration state helps us:

  • Identify any required licenses for your business.

  • Ensure we follow the correct sales tax regulations for your purchases.

  • Streamline the shipping process.

Business license

To ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone on marketplace, we need to verify your business license. This helps us confirm you're a legitimate beauty business.

How to add a business license:

  1. Click Add business license. A new window will appear.

  2. Choose your state from the drop-down menu.

  3. Enter your license number and end date (or tick Perpetual if it doesn't expire).

  4. Upload a clear photo or scan of your license. Make sure all the data is readable.

  5. Click Save license.

The state of company registration and the state of the active business license must match. Please make sure the states match before proceeding.

Professional licenses

For some beauty products, safety and regulations require verification of a professional license. This ensures qualified professionals have access to the products they need, while keeping everyone safe.

Do you have a professional license related to beauty services (e.g., barber, cosmetologist)? If so, you can add it here for a smoother experience. This allows you to purchase products that may require a license.

  1. Click Add professional license.

  2. Choose your state from the drop-down menu.

  3. Enter your license number, expiration date, and the name of the licensed professional.

  4. Upload a clear photo or scan of your license. Make sure all data is readable.

  5. Click Save license.

Can I add multiple professional licenses?

If the company employs several professionals with licenses, you can add them. Just click Add professional license again.

Exemption certificate

If your business is exempt from sales tax, you can upload your exemption certificate here. This ensures you comply with local tax laws and avoid unnecessary charges. In order to receive it, you must be registered with the state as a sales taxpayer.

If you do not have a certificate confirming this, contact your local revenue office.

  1. Click Add exemption certificate. A new window will open.

  2. Select the state, number, date of start, and expiration of the license.

  3. Upload a photo or scan of the exemption certificate. Please make sure that all the text on the photo can be easily read.

  4. Click Save license.

Can I continue without an exemption certificate?

Yes, you can continue setting up your account now and upload the certificate later in your settings.

How to fill in company profile

When you place an order, suppliers take a peek at your business profile. By providing a few key details, you can connect with brands that are a perfect fit for your business.

Why it matters: many professional suppliers care about their reputation and work with businesses that share their values. A well-crafted profile shows you're a serious player and helps attract suppliers who can provide the products you need to succeed.

Provided services

Choose the services you offer from the provided list. This helps both us and suppliers understand your business and recommend the most relevant products.

Think of it this way: if you specialize in manicures, wouldn't you prefer recommendations for new nail polishes instead of beard trimming products? Selecting your services ensures suppliers suggest the perfect products for your needs.

Simply choose all the services that apply to your salon from the drop-down list.

I can't find the service I provide

If you can't find the specific service you provide in the list, simply click Couldn't find service type. This will open a window where you can easily send us a suggestion. We're always happy to hear from you and will do our best to add new services as needed.

Photos of your establishment

Showcase your salon's style and equipment to attract the perfect suppliers for your needs. Upload up to 10 photos to give suppliers a glimpse of your amazing space. Click Upload to select them from your computer.

Photo tips:

  • Include a mix of close-up shots to show details and wider shots to capture the overall atmosphere.

  • Use clear, well-lit photos with minimal edits.

  • File size: max 7MB each

  • Allowed extensions: .jpeg, .jpg, .png

If you've uploaded a photo you don't like โ€” just hover over it and click the delete icon.

Links to Instagram and Facebook profile

Simply paste the URLs from your social media profiles in the designated fields.

Company description

Your company description is a powerful tool for attracting suppliers who share your vision and values. Many suppliers, particularly those in the eco-conscious beauty space, prioritize working with businesses that align with their mission.

Here are some tips to keep in mind when writing your company description:

  • Highlight your unique selling proposition (USP) and the benefits suppliers will gain from partnering with you. Do you have a loyal clientele or a focus on innovation? Let them know!

  • Clearly state your company's mission statement. This will give suppliers a clear picture of your purpose and core values.

  • Do you have any awards, recognitions, or positive client reviews that showcase your success? Including this information adds credibility and social proof to your description.

  • Add images, headings of different nesting levels, bold, italic text, and numbered and unnumbered lists to make text easier to read.

What happens after company information is sent?

Once you've filled in all your details, click Submit application. We'll carefully review your information and get back to you soon.

Here's what to expect next:

  • If everything looks good, we'll send you a confirmation message letting you know you're all set!

  • If we have any questions or need a bit more information, you'll also see a message on your screen.

How do I change the data after I have submitted it?

You can update the information while it is under review. To do this, click Check sent data, enter the necessary details, and click Update data.

Company verification failed

If there are any discrepancies in the information you provided, your application will show a Company verification failed status. Don't worry, this status will include a detailed explanation from our team outlining the specific data missing or any errors found.

To resolve these issues and complete your verification, simply make the necessary changes as outlined in the explanation and click Resubmit application.

Successful company verification

Congratulations! Your setup is complete. Now you can unlock the full potential of Suplery! Head over to the marketplace and place your first order.
